This Homesaver mantel heat shield is made of 24-ga steel, painted black. Attaches to the mantel and allows a clearance reduction from 18" to 9" for stovepipe and from 36" to 18" from the top of an unlisted stove, per NFPA 211 requirements. Also, this heat shield for fireplace mantel comes with hardware and necessary ceramic spacers and instructions.
Measures: 47" wide with a 10" face and 2 3/4" wide angled lip. Can be cut to size.
